Citizens of the following states can enter Colombia without a visa and stay temporarily if they have valid residency in a Schengen Area country or in the United States. Alternatively, they can enter if they hold a Schengen visa or a U.S. visa, both with a minimum validity of 180 days at the time of entry into Colombia.

Passport holders from countries or territories exempt from visa requirements in Colombia, as determined by Resolution 5588 of 2022, will be exempt from visa requirements as long as their stay in Colombia does not exceed 180 calendar days and they do not receive salary or wages in the country.

Visa Application Process

If you have already confirmed on this site or on the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website that you need a visa and must apply for one, you can proceed independently by submitting an application. Please note that visas are electronic and are processed through the Cancillería de Colombia.
